The puffing production line for aquatic fish feed is an automated production system that integrates raw material processing, mixing and conditioning, extrusion puffing, post-processing, and finished product packaging. Its core advantage lies in the use of high-temperature and high-pressure puffing technology to form a fluffy and porous particle structure in the feed, which not only improves the palatability and digestion absorption rate of the feed, but also kills harmful microorganisms in the raw materials, prolongs the shelf life of the feed, and adapts to the growth needs of various aquatic fish species. The processing technology of the entire production line is interrelated, and the parameter control of each section directly determines the quality of the final feed product. The following will provide a detailed introduction to the processing flow, process points, and equipment configuration of each core section.
1, Raw material pretreatment section: laying the foundation for feed quality
Raw material pretreatment is the primary step in the production of puffed feed, with the core goal of removing impurities, optimizing raw material characteristics, ensuring smooth processing and uniform feed nutrition. It is mainly divided into three sub sections: raw material receiving and cleaning, crushing, and ingredient mixing. Each step strictly follows industry standards and production standards.
2, Core puffing section: endowing feed with core characteristics
The puffing section is the core of the entire production line, which undergoes a series of physical and chemical changes such as starch gelatinization, protein denaturation, and microbial inactivation through the comprehensive effects of high temperature, high pressure, and shearing, ultimately forming puffing particles with loose structure and uniform particle size. Its process parameters directly determine key indicators such as the looseness, floatability, and water resistance of the feed. At present, mainstream production lines all use twin-screw puffing machines. Compared with single screw puffing machines, they have stronger adaptability to high protein and high-fat formulas, more complete conditioning effects, and more stable product quality.
3, Post processing section: Stable quality, easy to store
The expanded particles have a high temperature (about 100-120 ℃), high moisture content (20-30%), and a porous surface. They need to undergo post-treatment steps such as drying, cooling, and spraying to reduce moisture and temperature, improve particle hardness, palatability, and stability, and become qualified finished products.
4, Finished product packaging and auxiliary section: ensuring closed-loop production
