Pregelatinized starch, also known as alpha modified starch, refers to the modified starch that is easily soluble in cold water and is made by heating and gelatinizing the original starch, followed by drying and crushing. The core of its processing machinery is the equipment that completes the process of "gelatinization ->drying ->crushing".
At present, the main production processes of pre gelatinized starch include drum drying, spray drying and extrusion. Among them, drum drying method has become the most commonly used and mainstream method due to its moderate investment cost, stable product quality, and wide application range.

This production line uses rice, corn, beans and all kinds of grains as raw materials. Through extruding, inflating, drying,crushing and mixing, it could produce many kinds of nutrition powder, such as baby rice powder, sesame paste, beans powder and so on.
It could finish all the process automatically from the feeding to the end. It has features of easy operation, without leak of powder dust, sanitation, saving energy and easy to add all kinds of raw materials and nutriment.

Core equipment: Screw extruder (similar to food extrusion puffing machine).
Process: The starch raw material with low moisture content is fed into an extruder, where it is mechanically sheared by a screw and heated by a barrel to produce high temperature and high pressure, resulting in starch gelatinization. Then, it is suddenly released from the mold head to atmospheric pressure, undergoes expansion, and is dried and crushed.
Advantages: Low energy consumption, no need to dry a large amount of water.
Disadvantages: The viscosity loss of the product is significant, and high shear forces can damage the structure of starch granules, which limits its application.
